REU: Coding theory, number theory, and related topics

Description: During the summer of 2023 Occidental College will host a ten week REU focusing on coding theory, number theory, and related topics. Students will be paid a stipend of $4,500,
be reimbursed up to $500 for travel to and from the REU, and
provided with housing and meals on the campus of Occidental College. The REU will run from Math 30 to August 1.
Eligibility: Note that to be eligible for funding students MUST be US citizens or permanent residents.
The REU is funded by the NSA.
Faculty Advisor:
Jim Brown will be supervising projects in coding theory and number theory.
Occidental's REU will be hosting a virtual REU conference.
